Sue Dyer Design needed the R35 photographed for a book she was designing, it’s now gone to print.
Seeing the Robot arms could move up and down, I straight away thought of creating an animation. The goal was to create an animated Gif in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 and then adding a voice over & sound track in Adobe Premier (the sound track from Terminator).
It was all trial and error for me, I had to go to Youtube for a tutorial on how to create a Gif in Photoshop. Some of my friends would say I’ve too much time on my hands. As a creative I love the challenge of learning something new, it’s all in the name of learning and being creative.
The voice over was created in Text-to-Speech – http://www.oddcast.com/home/demos/tts/tts_example.php
I had fun playing here it’s got loads of cool effects to a play with..
This Windup Tin Toy Robot was made in Japan by Masudaya Corp.,1984. These were made on the 30th anniversary of the original larger robot from 1954. The robot is approximately 4 inches tall. The robots’ heads, torsos, legs and arms are made of tin and their feet, hands, and “ears” are made of red plastic. This Robot is in mint condition, a great collectors piece.
